Monogram Cookies

I made these this week for a friend's High School Graduation Party. I think they turned out pretty well. I'm not sure that dark green and black cookies are that appetizing, but those were the school colors...so that's what I did.

I made the monograms using candy melts (chocolate, with some black food coloring added) and piped them onto wax paper, then covered them with black sugar sprinkles while they were still wet. Choosing a font for a J was probably the hardest part.

Then I just outlined with black and flooded with green. I couldn't quite figure out which outline shape I liked, but the scalloped and star outline took alot longer so about 20 have different outlines, and 20 are just circles.

With the extra dough, i made this tiny flowers to put on top of cupcakes for Amy's annual birthday celebration that we like to call our girls weekend. So hopefully they travel well, not sure what I'm packing them in.
