I live in a neighborhood that's very conducive to bike riding, yet I had no bike. I only live 3 miles to work and often think it wouldn't kill me to ride a bike to work...but I didn't have a bike. So for my birthday - my parents sent me some mulah...and I'm now the proud owner of an Electra Townie. :) Its pretty cute - especially with the basket on it.

One needs a basket - for when one runs errands! Helmet yet to be purchased.
